Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in a few Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. Another notable character she portrayed as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated to Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
