Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. She is currently 58 years old. The name of her mother is Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. She graduated in 1982 from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. In 1986, she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on telecommunications at the University of Miami. As a student at the undergraduate level, she landed an opportunity as the sports director of Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. She was also employed at Dynamic Cable for two years, from 1984 to 1986. During this period she was also part of the team for water skiing of The University of Miami. Plaza was involved in Wilmington theater as when she was a young person, and was a part of improv groups, staged one-act plays, and was involved in various other events. When she graduated of high school, she relocated into New York City. There she attended classes of improv and film production at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. The year 2006 was the year she suffered a stroke at age 20 that left her with temporary expressive aphasia.
