Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the sole woman in the history of sports to have won her place in the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - from Iceland - a CrossFit weightlifter, media star and CrossFit athlete - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. It was her fame that made her the first woman to be the first person who achieved two wins at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. She also won Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie as well as her parents and siblings were raised in Reykjavik Iceland. At a young age, Annie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed working out. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. In 2009, she was a participant at her very first CrossFit game in California. The performance of her was excellent in the games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (as in 2021). She stands at 5' 7" tall she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey at the age of nineteen in California. Her performance was good in her initial games and finished in the Top 10 from 70. The team was not able to claim any titles and finished 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the tutelage of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. After one year of CrossFit Games she won her first CrossFit Games. The dominating accomplishment made her a winner of the title. In 2012, Annie was again the winner of at the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first female athlete to have won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she received a bronze. Presently, Annie coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's increasing popularity as a athlete has made her the brand ambassador for many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance's Periodization and Nuunhydration Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie" which has over 3,000 subscribers. The channel has videos on nutrition and fitness, as well as the family life.
